The Cecilian Chamber Series presents the first concert of the 2024-2025 season: Viano String Quartet - Memoirs
Viano String Quartet, first-prize winner at the 2019 Banff International String Quartet Competition, presents their program, Memoirs, consisting of brief works by Franz Schubert, Florence Price, Krzysztof Penderecki and Antonín Dvořák, followed by Bedřich Smetana’s searing Quartet No. 1, “From My Life".
Viano String Quartet is: Lucy Wang (violin), Hao Zhou (violin), Aiden Kane (viola), Tate Zawadiuk (cello).

SCHUBERT: String Quartet No. 12 in C minor “Quartettsatz”
PRICE: “Andante Cantabile” from String Quartet in G Major
PENDERECKI: Leaves from an Unwritten Diary
DVOŘÁK: Humoresque
SMETANA: String Quartet No. 1 “From My Life”
Tickets are $68 for Level 1 seating, $63 for Level 2 seating, and $25 for Students, all fees and taxes included. Seating is assigned.
