Regina Musical Club presents the third concert in their 2022-2023 season, Jonathan Craig Penner, violoncello at Darke Hall.
RMC Recital Competition Winner, Jonathan Craig Penner returns home to Regina to delight audiences with a program of works by J.S Bach, Brahms and Max Bruch.
One of Canada’s brightest emerging musicians, Jonathan was the winner of the 2019 Shurniak Concerto Competition and has been a featured soloist with the Regina Symphony Orchestra and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Cello Performance at McGill University and serves as principal cello of the McGill Symphony Orchestra.
Individual ticket prices are $30 for adults and $25 for seniors (65 and up), plus fees and taxes. Free tickets for those under 18 and UofR students are available at the door on the day of the concert. Students may be asked to present ID.
