Event Notes

× Montreal string nonet collectif9 immerses the audience into a world of colours and textures with the music of Claude Debussy, Luna Pearl Woolf, and Tom Morrison, and the magical shadow decor of Mere Phantoms in Vagues et ombres (waves and shadows). The program includes original arrangements of works by Debussy including his iconic symphonic work, La Mer. A sonic evocation of the underwater world of belugas in the St. Lawrence River estuary, Woolf’s Contact addresses an urgent situation affecting the marine ecosystem in Quebec.

Tickets are $38 for adults and $32 for seniors (65 and up), inclusive of fees and taxes. Free tickets for those under 18 and UofR students are available at the door on the day of the concert. Students may be asked to present ID.
